The title of this artwork You Can't Step Into the Same River Twice is really a metaphor for life. Live in the present, the past has moved on. I love taking photos from on high, an aerial view. This top down view of a tree-lined river flowing is just that.
It is autumn and the leaves are turning glorious shades of red, orange and yellow. Enhanced with stitching to represent tree branches adds a complexity to this piece.
I love it and felt it needed to be seen. And it will. It is headed to the Poway Center for the Performing Arts in a SoCal SAQA exhibit. How exciting is that!
