This piece is heading to the Visions Art Museum for a members exhibit named A Splash of Color. It was a joy to make, reminding me of a celebration with streamers falling.

Into the Mix
This piece is a multi-layered painted canvas. The stitching defines the shape and the framing. Continuing with the ring motifs, they are enhances with painted and stitched open circles. I love the green and rust coloring and the subtle striping of the background. Very fun to design and construct.

Topsy Curvy
This piece is a many layered, painted canvas with applique added. The appliqued pieces are drawn from hand dyed fabric The yellow and orange background provides a nice contrast to the center column of wonderfully warm colors. Hand and machine stitch complete the work. And don't you just love the name. So fitting.

Off the Grid
This quilt is a combination of painted canvas and hand dyed cloth, mounted on a deep brown linen. It is edge stitched for framing. I love how the hand dyed fabrics along with the paint create a light spot on the center right.
Thank you for looking. And as always...comments are welcome!
