The Columbia FiberArts Guild is presenting an Artists Market to showcase the work of 45 local artists. This exhibit includes wall art, 3 dimensional work and clothing. Some but not all items are for sale. Do come. You will not be disappointed. It will be amazing.

Fragments #5
This piece has a slightly different focus.
I have added additional color and contrast in surface design. It has both machine and hand stitching. It reminds me of a walk on the beach at sunset.
Once again it is primarily painted canvas with a bit of hand dyed accent pieces.

Fragments #4
This is one of my favorites to date.
Perhaps the value of working in a series with a consistent color palette.
One thought leads to another and a new fresh look appears from similar beginnings.
It's formed a a triptych, with three separate but very close sections. I love the addition of the beads and disks for an additional layer of interest.
