I pulled together a fiber show for the women of the First United Methodist church. This was the 9th annual show. The theme this year was Portlandia. See this post to read the story.
Twelve artists from the Portland area created works inspired by this theme.
Mine I fondly call The Flying Geese Bridge because of it's similarity to the quilt block by the same name. When my daughter was young and enjoyed all things quilting, we noticed this pattern on the bridge and so nicknamed this bridge. It is really named the Fremont Bridge but not so by me. It does, however always let's me know that I am home.
