This quilt is a combination of painted canvas and hand dyed cloth, mounted on a deep brown linen. It is edge stitched for framing. I love how the hand dyed fabrics along with the paint create a light spot on the center right.

O-h-h-h! I'm liking this. I agree about the "spotlight". Very effective. I also note the "honeycomb" effect in the painting. It works vey well sith this design.
Love both, color and composition. The fading of elements into the background is especially pleasing. Beautiful job, Elena.
